Meet volunteer greeter, Carol

Carol Brown volunteered with us for five years before the Covid pandemic. She made hot drinks, was a patient companion and offered relaxation therapy.
“I worked as an occupational therapist and used to visit my patients here, so wanted to volunteer when I retired.
“I really missed being here during the pandemic as I had a real connection to the hospice, so I’m delighted to be back, meeting and greeting patients, families and visitors.”
Unfortunately, we’re not recruiting any new volunteers at the moment but keep an eye on our website which we will update when applications reopen.
