Meet volunteer gardener, Maggie

Maggie Pound is a passionate gardener and has tended her allotment for many years.

She was an oncology nurse at the Royal Marsden and kept in touch with a colleague who worked at the hospice, so had a connection with us.

“I love tending the garden, and keeping it in tip top condition for patients, families and staff to enjoy.

“Everyone has been so welcoming and I’m delighted to be part of such a special team”.
